Danny
Gibson Tjapaltjarri is the son of Yala Yala Gibbs Tjungurrayi, who was one of
the great early artists and founding members of Papunya Tula Artists. His
mother, Yinarupa Nangala, and brothers Morris Gibson Tjapaltjarri and Adam
Gibbs Tjapaltjarri are also artists with the company.
Danny
completed his first paintings for Papunya Tula Artists in 2001 and represents
one of the group of exciting young artists at the company.
Danny
lives with his wife and daughter on the Kiwirrkura community in Western
Australia.
