aboriginal artist: Sally (Liki) Nanii

Liki (born c. 1930), came into Bidyadanga as a young girl with her brother Meridoo in the 1960’s. Her father took her away from her mother to take her to Bidyadanga, which was very sad for her. Her mother cried and didn’t see Liki again. Very sadly Liki had a stroke in 2007 and unfortunately has been unable to paint since then.
